Personal Projects

Since 2013 I have been building, flying, and breaking FPV drones in my spare time. My journey started with RC cars and planes, but I soon got frustrated with the disposability of many of the common products. I soon found the passionate community of FPV drones and was attracted to the building, customizing, and slightly rogue world of drones. I enjoy flying my Tiny Whoop around the house and flying outdoors when I get the chance!

My fascination with aviation started at a young age and continues today. Without the funds to buy a plane (yet). I find myself building models. I enjoy the precision and patience it requires to put together wood and plastic models. 

During Covid in 2020 I decided to work on a kit project that utilized the Raspberry Pi computer. This kit included a wheeled robot with sensing. I learned the basics of communicating with SSH and Python.
